Ji joined Chelsea in 2014, the first South Korean to play in the FA Women’s Super League, and by the end of that first season she was already the league’s Player of the Year and the PFA Players’ Player of the Year. She went on to become the first non-British player to reach 100 and 200 league appearances respectively.
