I chose the College because I was impressed by its distinctive blend of academic rigour and extracurricular achievement. A College for all-rounders, Jesus is a lively and rewarding place to study. Jesus College is situated on Jesus Lane, a quiet side street in the centreof Cambridge.
Chemical Engineering. I chose to study Chemical Engineering at Jesus College, mainly because I thoroughly enjoyed the subjects that I studied at A-Level (Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, and Physics). The course was a natural combination of everything that I’d studied so far, and I’d decided that I wanted a practical career within industry.
Jesus College has had Welsh connections since its founding in 1571, although our students now come from all over the UK and abroad. In 2022, we opened the Cheng Yu Tung Building on our historic site, which houses new study and teaching spaces, graduate facilities, a multi-faith prayer room, and a café. We are due to open an onsite gym in 2024.
I studied Maths at Jesus College for four years as an undergraduate. I am now a PhD student in the doctoral training program at the Cambridge Centre for Analysis.
