Jerry Weiss (born October 21, 1959) is an American figurative, landscape, and portrait painter and a writer. He studied classical drawing, and his career has centered on both the figure (usually from life studies), and landscape (often painted in the outdoors).

Biography. Jerry Weiss (American, b.1959) studied drawing with Roberto Martinez in Miami, FL, and drawing and painting with Harvey Dinnerstein, Robert Beverly Hale, Ted Seth Jacobs, Mary Beth McKenzie, and Jack Faragasso at the Art Students League and the National Academy of Design in New York City.
Jerry Weiss (born May 1, 1946, in New York City) is an American trumpet and flugelhorn player, best known as a founding member of the jazz fusion band Blood, Sweat & Tears. He appeared on their critically acclaimed 1968 debut album, Child Is Father to the Man.

Jerry Weiss has had one-man exhibitions at the Boca Raton Museum of Art, the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, and galleries in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Maine. His paintings are represented in numerous public, private, and corporate collections, including the New Britain Museum of American Art, Boca Raton Museum of Art, and the Harvard Club of New York City.
