Artist biography Jerry Angel. Jerry Angel plays drums in The Blasters and with Mike Eldred Trio. Previously he has played with The Dickies, Carole King, The Divinyls, Dwight Yoakam, Brian Setzer, Pleasure Barons, Beat Farmers, and Dave Alvin and the Allnighters, among others.
After the departure of drummer Jerry Angel, the band reunited with original member Bill Bateman and subsequently released their 2012 CD Fun on Saturday Night (Rip Cat).
