Jens Weißflog (German pronunciation: [jɛns ˈvaɪ̯sˌfloːk], audio ⓘ; born 21 July 1964) is an East German and later German former ski jumper. He is one of the best and most successful ski jumpers in the history of the sport.
Jens Weißflog ist ein ehemaliger deutscher Skispringer. Er zählt zu den fünf Athleten, welche die wichtigsten vier Wettbewerbe im Skisprung-Sport gewonnen haben. Weißflog ist der einzige Athlet, der sowohl im Parallel-Stil als auch im V-Stil eine Einzelmedaille bei Olympischen Spielen erringen konnte.
Jens Weißflog is a former ski jumper who won four Olympic gold medals and 33 World Cup titles. He competed for East Germany and Germany from 1984 to 1994 and was also a ski jumping analyst and a politician.
