Eric Clapton was very good, he could play it all and sing. His Woman tone was brilliant. I think the however the best was Jeff Beck. Played the guitar like his toy. Beck was a true guitar God. Jimi pushed Beck to be even better, but if you listen to Beck before Hendrix’s invasion, he was already ahead of everyone.
