He initially started out as a member of the Yardbirds in 1965, staying until 1966. After that, he went on to form his own band called The Jeff Beck Group which released two studio albums in 1968 and 1969.
Eric Clapton was very good, he could play it all and sing. His Woman tone was brilliant. I think the however the best was Jeff Beck. Played the guitar like his toy. Beck was a true guitar God. Jimi pushed Beck to be even better, but if you listen to Beck before Hendrix’s invasion, he was already ahead of everyone.
