May 16, 2019. After his thoughtful move to Nashville from his home state of California in 2012, Jarred Pope has found strong and steady work in the heavy rock world.
Jarred Pope's (Damon Johnson, Tom Keifer, Gene Simmons) kit-Damon Johnson & The Get Ready-Live-Summer 2021-Beier 1.5 Steel--4 x 15. This drum is one of Jarred's mains, and he also has recorded extensively with it.
In March 2022, Brother Cane announced they would reunite for live shows later in the year. Johnson is rejoined by original bass guitarist Glenn Maxey, along with Buck Johnson ( Aerosmith, Hollywood Vampires) on keyboards, Tony Higbee on guitar (Tom Keifer Band), and drummer Jarred Pope from Johnson's solo band.

Having played such a big part in the writing of the first three Black Star Riders albums, what made you leave?
I was chatting with Nashville's Jarred Pope over the weekend, & to no surprise...He is as busy as ever. He is widely regarded as a knockout player from A-Z, and players like this are never idle. The second pic below is from a recent show he did with Aerosmith's Buck Johnson with his 1.5 Steel--6.5 x 15.
