Jai Johanny Johanson ( Ocean Springs, Misisipi; 8 de julio de 1944), mejor conocido por su nombre artístico Jaimoe, es un baterista y percusionista estadounidense. Es reconocido por ser uno de los miembros fundadores de la banda de rock sureño The Allman Brothers Band.
Jaimoe, born John Lee Johnson, is a musician who played with Otis Redding, Sam and Dave, and the Allman Brothers Band. He is the last surviving original member of the band, which he co-founded in 1969 and left in 1980 due to back problems.
Before joining ABB in 1969, the Mississippi-born Johanson played with Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, and Joe Tex. His versatility, jazz, blues rock, R&B, and soul mastery helped ensure ABB’s placement as one of the most influential classic-rock bands of the era.
