Before forming Genesis, leader Jack Ttanna had played with psych legends The Sons Of Adam, while guitarist Kent Henry would go on to join Steppenwolf.
Forget the UK band (I enjoy the UK band especially the 1970-77 era), this Genesis very much stands on its own, particularly if you love West Coast psych. The group consisted of Jack Ttanna on vocals and guitar, Kent Henry on additional guitar, Fred Rivera on bass, Bob Metke on drums and Sue Richman on vocals.
8 de may. de 2018 · But for all of that, the album saves its best for last, the Jack Ttanna-authored "World Without You," which starts out (and finishes) like a Spanky & Our Gang pop-folk number but soars into orbit for much of its length on Henry's guitar, in one of the most successful in-studio psychedelic jams ever to make it onto vinyl.
