Kirby also created the covers for Marvel's biggest super teams, the Avengers and the X-Men, when their series premiered on the same day in 1963.

This issue was made after Jack left Marvel and went over to DC, and satirized Stan Lee as “Funky Flashman” as a verbose user and abuser of artistic talent, working as a driver of slaves in a happy “Marvel” family.
