Jörg Michael (n. 27 de marzo de 1963 en Dortmund, Alemania) es un músico conocido por ser el exbaterista del grupo de Power metal finlandés Stratovarius desde 1996 hasta 2011.
Jörg Michael (born 27 March 1963) is a German drummer who is known for playing with numerous groups, including the power metal band Stratovarius, with whom he played from 1995 to 2011 and Saxon (2004-2005). He has also been a member of Mekong Delta, Rage, and many more heavy metal bands.

Michael is a drummer best known for his time in Stratovarius, Axel Rudi Pell and Mekong Delta, although he played in many other power, thrash and/or heavy metal bands both in and out his native Germany. He has always been working as a studio drummer since the mid-1980s too.
