Warrant is a German speed metal band. It was formed in Düsseldorf in 1983 [1] by Jörg Juraschek (vocals, bass), Thomas Klein (guitar) and Lothar Wieners (drums). They went on tour with Warlock in 1985, after releasing an EP and an LP. The band soon split up.

Gegründet wurde die Band 1983, zuerst in der Besetzung Jörg Juraschek, Thomas Klein und Lothar Wieners. Auf The Enforcer stieß der Gitarrist Oliver May hinzu. 1985 erschienen First Strike und The Enforcer, bevor die Band mit Warlock auf Tour ging. Bald trennte sich die Band.
