Ivan Král (12 May 1948 – 2 February 2020) was a Czech-born American composer, filmmaker, guitarist, record producer, bassist, and singer-songwriter. [1] He worked across genres including pop music, punk rock, garage rock, rock, jazz, soul, country and film scores.

He co-wrote the 1979 hit 'Dancing Barefoot' and was the co-writer and guitarist for Iggy Pop's 1980 album 'Party'. He also produced and released solo albums in the Czech Republic.
