Israel Citkowitz (6 February 1909 – 4 May 1974) was a Polish-born American pianist, composer, teacher, and critic.

Lady Caroline Blackwood was a writer and artist's muse, former wife of Lucian Freud and Israel Citkowitz, and later wife of Robert T.S. Lowell. She was a descendant of the 18th-century dramatist Richard Brinsley Sheridan. She sat for 10 portraits in the National Portrait Gallery collection, including one by Lucian Freud.
