Irvine Welsh (Leith, Edimburgo; 27 de septiembre de 1958) es un escritor escocés. Es reconocido por su novela Trainspotting , la cual tuvo una adaptación cinematográfica aclamada por la crítica en la que incluso tiene un papel secundario .
Irvine Welsh (born 27 September 1958) is a Scottish novelist and short story writer. His 1993 novel Trainspotting was made into a film of the same name. He has also written plays and screenplays, and directed several short films. Early life. Irvine Welsh was born in Leith, the port area of the Scottish capital Edinburgh.
