1 de jul. de 2002 · Saxophonist Ravi Coltrane and bassist Colley fuse their melodic lines gracefully. Some overdubbing allows the session to grow even larger. Harmony and melody wander through changing landscapes that originate amid jazz's traditional roots and drive beyond the norm to more contemporary moods.
O’s Notes: Leader and bassist Scott Colley joins forces with Ravi Coltrane (sax), Adam Rogers (g) and Bill Stewart (d) for nine tracks. Most of the music is peaceful fusion that stretches our imagination. Both Ravi and Adam play subtle, blue, melodic tones while Stewart gently fills the gaps with accents on cymbals and tom-toms.
