The quality of 'In Your Mind' has exceeded my expectations. Many reviews are quite negative but with eight self-penned tracks, in many ways I consider this album to be Bryan Ferry's finest 1970's solo album.

Ferry may have been ensconced in the glamorous nightlife of the international capitals, but In Your Mind is by no means a soulless party romp. “One Kiss” and “Rock of Ages” are two of his most aching and elegant ballads, while the closing title song provides a moment of slowly levitating grandeur similar to the solo work of Ferry’s old bandmate Brian Eno.
