Edgar Holland Winter (born December 28, 1946) is an American multi-instrumentalist, working as a vocalist along with playing keyboards, saxophone, and percussion. His success peaked in the 1970s with his band the Edgar Winter Group and their popular songs "Frankenstein" and "Free Ride".He is the brother of late blues singer and guitarist Johnny Winter.

(RIP Johnny 1944-2014) The Rock ‘N’ Blues Fest/Hippiefest tour perseveres as a ‘Tribute to Johnny Winter.’ The tour kicked off in Clarkston, Michigan on July 31st and arrives at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, Florida on August 16th.
