In Deep is the fourth studio album by English rock band Argent, released by Epic Records in October 1973. It features the original full-length recording of " God Gave Rock and Roll to You ", which reached No. 18 in the UK charts (U.S. No. 114) when released in edited form as a single later the same year.

Review by Sean Trane. SPECIAL COLLABORATOR Prog Folk. After the commercial success of their ATN album (mostly though the Hold Your Head Up single), Argent had to confirm with the fourth and I have suspected for decades that the album's title was probably referring to their situation with regards as to their record company's expectations.
