It was recorded on 11 to 12 December in 2014 at Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church. It is an adaptation of the narration for Igor Stravinsky’s 1918 theatrical work.

6 de oct. de 2018 · The Soldier's Tale is a theatrical work 'to be read, played, and danced' by three actors (the soldier, the devil, and a narrator) and dancers, accompanied by a septet of instruments. The libretto relates the parable of a soldier who trades his fiddle to the devil in return for unlimited economic gain.
Hace 3 días · George Roger Waters (born 6 September 1943) is an English musician, singer-songwriter and composer. In 1965, he co-founded the progressive rock band Pink Floyd as the bassist. Following the departure of singer-songwriter Syd Barrett in 1968, Waters also became the band's lyricist, co-lead vocalist and conceptual leader until his departure in 1985.
