Idrissa Akuna Elba (Hackney, Londres, Inglaterra, 6 de septiembre de 1972), conocido como Idris Elba, es un actor británico de televisión, teatro y cine. Inició su carrera en Estados Unidos, siendo su papel más conocido el de Russell «Stringer» Bell, traficante de drogas que aspira a convertirse en un hombre de negocios en la serie The Wire.
Elba appeared in American Gangster (2007), Obsessed (2009) and Prometheus (2012). He portrayed Heimdall in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), beginning with Thor (2011), and Bloodsport in The Suicide Squad (2021), set in the DC Extended Universe.
