Ian Richardson (n. 7 de abril de 1934 – f. 9 de febrero de 2007) fue un actor escocés conocido sobre todo por su interpretación del maquiavélico político Tory Francis Urquhart en la trilogía televisiva de la BBC House of Cards, además de por su actuación en obras teatrales de Shakespeare.
Ian Richardson (1934-2007) was a classical actor and founding member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He is best known for his role as Francis Urquhart in the BBC series House of Cards and his stage performances in Shakespeare and other plays.
Ian William Richardson CBE (7 April 1934 – 9 February 2007) was a British actor from Edinburgh, Scotland . He portrayed the Machiavellian Tory politician Francis Urquhart in the BBC 's House of Cards (1990–1995) television trilogy, as well as the British spy Bill Haydon in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (1979).
