Ian Gillan (født 1945) er en britisk vokalist, kjent som vokalist for hard rock-bandet Deep Purple.Gillan hadde sangrollen som Jesus på originalinnspillingen av rockeoperaen Jesus Christ Superstar i 1970.. Som 16-åring startet han sitt første band, The Moonshiners, men bare få uker etterpå, i oktober 1962 sluttet han skolen og ble med i bandet The Javelins.
