29 de nov. de 2011 · Ian Scott Anderson, MBE (b. 1947) is a Scottish singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, best known for his work as the leader and flautist of British rock band Jethro Tull. Anderson was born on 10th August 1947, the youngest of three children. He spent the first part of his childhood in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Over that time, the band’s sound has evolved and diversified, but they remain an enduring touchstone of the prog rock world. In 2018 – before to the release of 2022's The Zealot Gene – Anderson looked back with Prog on Tull's studio output from 1969 to 2003.

Ian Theodore Anderson (born May 2, 1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB). Anderson was selected out of high school by the Braves with the third overall pick of the 2016 MLB draft. He made his major league debut in 2020.
