Después de una primera etapa de discos conceptuales sinfónicos, y una segunda de mezcolanza del sonido. Canterbury, con tintes Jazz y algo de Camel, (Rain Dances y Breathless son dos discos con tendencias diferentes al resto de la obra del grupo), aparece este trabajo.

“I Can See Your House From Here” was a revitalised work that included many fine songs such as ‘Ice’ (featuring Phil Collins on Percussion), ‘Hymn To Her’ and ‘Your Love is Stranger Than Mine’. Produced by Rupert Hine, the album was a chart success and spawned an extensive World tour.
