25 de feb. de 2003 · Howie Epstein, who played bass for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and also produced albums by Bob Dylan and John Prine, died at 47 in New Mexico. Officials suspect he was killed by a heroin overdose, but the cause of death has not been confirmed. He was arrested in 2001 for possessing heroin and drug paraphernalia with his girlfriend.
