Career. John Pinette got his first big break as a stand-up comedian in Frank Sinatra’s tour. He made his small screen debut in 1990, appearing as Howie Anderson in the sitcom ‘ALF’. The following year, he appeared as a referee in the game show ‘The Grudge Match’.
