T-Bone Walker, sin ayuda de nadie y con su guitarra eléctrica, desarrolló un estilo y una forma de tocar blues que era totalmente diferente a cualquier cosa que se hubiese hecho con anterioridad. He was the first important electric guitar soloist in the blues and one of the most influential players in the idiom’s history. His 1947 hit ‘Call It Stormy Monday’ became one of the most enduring blues standards.
