Hermanus "Herman" Brood (Dutch pronunciation: [ɦɛrˈmaːnʏs ˈɦɛrmɑm ˈbroːt]; 5 November 1946 – 11 July 2001) was a Dutch musician, painter, actor and poet. As a musician he achieved artistic and commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s, and was called "the greatest and only Dutch rock 'n' roll star". [1]

Biography Herman Brood. The Dutch artist Herman Brood (1946-2001) was born on November 5, 1946 at Fuchiastraat 34 in Zwolle. Musical career. He started drawing at a young age, but when he noticed that girls were highly respected as a musician, he learned to play the piano.
