Michael Rooker, v době kdy se ucházel o roli Henryho, pracoval jako domovník a na zkoušku se dostavil ve své pracovní kombinéze. Roli získal a svou pracovní uniformu nakonec obléká i ve filmu. ( DaViD´82 ) Překlad názvu filmu do češtiny je velmi chybný. „Serial Killer“ je přeložen jako masový vrah.

30 de ago. de 2019 · At it’s heart, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer is a commentary on both the mutability of morality and the culpability of voyeurism. Henry as a character is shown to be a man of strong morals. Sure, he kills multiple people at random, but he’s also shown drawing the line several times in what he thinks others are allowed to do.
Two scenes of attempted rape, one with breast nudity. A dead woman's breasts are fondled. A man attempts to seduce a teenage boy by placing his hand on the boy's thigh; the boy reacts by punching him in the face, then fleeing. A woman is raped. Another man discovers it as it's happening, and attacks the rapist.
