Hello is the debut album by the American singer-songwriter Poe. It was released in 1995 on Modern Records.

In a recent interview with Spinner, the 41-year-old New York native explained that her extended hiatus was the result of a lengthy legal battle against her former label, Atlantic Records.

"Hello" is the second single released by singer-songwriter Poe. When first released, the single was a moderate success but fared much better on the charts when a remix of the song was introduced. The music video, which featured a The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari theme was co-directed by her brother, Mark Z. Danielewski.
12 de feb. de 2007 · Any fan of Poe's would expect nothing less. However different Hello is to Haunted, this is still undeniably Poe. I started being a fan of Poe after hearing Haunted. It wasn't until recently that I decided to go back and listen to her first disc, Hello. As great as this CD is I still prefer Haunted to it. But Hello has it's genius moments.
