Heathmont College is currently revisiting its values, vision and mission in preparation for our school review in 2022. After extensive consultation and feedback with our community, we have identified the following outlines the current state of our values. Curiosity – We have a desire for learning and a sense of hope and positivity.
Heathmont College is particularly proud of our Indigenous Garden, depicting Bunjil the Eagle, the Rainbow Serpent and celebrating the First Nations peoples of this country. The VCE is usually done in Year 11 and Year 12 but can be started in Year 10. About half of Victorian Year 10 students take some VCE units and at Heathmont College we encourage students to enhance their studies by selecting a VCE or VETiS subject in Year 10. Benefits: 1. Heathmont College acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the Lands that we are privileged to walk upon and learn on each day, which is the land of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation.
