After a degree in International Studies (Politics, History and Economics) she completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art at the Cyprus College of Art and the Portraiture Diploma at the Heatherley School of Fine Art.

He began carving at an early age when his father gave him his first pocketknife. By age seven, Elijah Pierce began carving little wooden farm animals. His uncle, Lewis Wallace, inspired and instructed him in the art of carving.
