Hawtreys Preparatory School was a private boys' preparatory school in England, first established in Slough, later moved to Westgate-on-Sea, then to Oswestry, and finally to a country house near Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire.In its early years it was known as St Michael's School.. 1 de ene. de 2018 · Abstract. Hawtrey was born in Slough, near London, and went up to Trinity College, Cambridge, from Eton in 1898. Three years later he graduated 19th Wrangler in the Mathematical Tripos. Hawtrey remained at Cambridge for a further period to read for the civil service examinations, as was quite common at that time.
