He frequently wrote for and performed with many other leading comedy performers and writers of the period, including Tony Hancock, Spike Milligan, Tommy Cooper, Peter Sellers, John Antrobus and Johnny Speight.

Hace 4 días · 1968: ITV one-off variety sketch show Howerd's Hour, penned by Eric Sykes, featured not only Hattie Jacques but the comedy sketch stylings of Frankie with Sandie Shaw and Scott Walker. 1977 : if you'll excuse the host, for us one of the most remarkable performances in Top Of The Pops history came from the Martyn Ford Orchestra and their number 38 smash Let Your Body Go Downtown.

Eric Sykes had a renowned comedy double act with 'Carry On' regular Hattie Jacques but never appeared in the films. Nor did Tony Hancock, whose famous show 'Hancock's Half Hour' regularly featured Sid James and Kenneth Williams.
