The album was released through Virgin Records in March 1975. It's the successor to the band's eponymously titled debut full-length album which was released in February 1974.

Paul Williams, 30, was recently sentenced to four years’ probation after pleading guilty to one misdemeanor count of indecent exposure as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.

19 de abr. de 2024 · カンタベリー人脈が交差するHatfield and the Northはその時点で取り組みたい音楽を実現するための最善のメンバーを揃えたというような趣がある。 1974年の本作は短めのトラックが絶え間ななく続く構図の中に2曲、コアになる楽曲が据えられている。 印象派を思わせるカバーアートと連続して一つの組曲のような形を成している楽曲の構成力はつながりを感じる。 Son of ‘There’s No Place Like Hometown’は、前半のコアになる楽曲で、鍵盤のフレーズが少しづつコードを移行させながら徐々にバンドが入ってくる。 2分半を過ぎたあたりから展開するミニマルなオルガンとホーンのアンサンブルが素晴らしい。
