Harvey Sorgen. Harvey Sorgen, Hot Tuna's sizzling drummer, started playing drums and percussion instruments in 1964. His mastery of many styles-jazz, rock, funk and pop-is evident on recordings and gigs with Ahmad Jamal, Robbie Dupree, Roswell Rudd, Dry Jack, Bill Frisell, NRBQ, The Mallards (his own group) and many others, including Hot Tuna.

FSR 12 2022. With Grace in Mind is an album by the jazz trio Dreamstruck, featuring pianist Marilyn Crispell, double bassist Joe Fonda, and drummer Harvey Sorgen. It was recorded on June 26, 2021, at Area 52 Studios in Saugerties, New York, and was released in 2022 by Fundacja Sluchaj!, a Polish label. [1] [2] [3]
