Harry Nilsson (born June 15, 1941, Brooklyn, New York, U.S.—died January 15, 1994, Agoura Hills, California) American singer-songwriter of immense talent. A self-taught musician who rose from working in a bank to become an international star, Nilsson had the distinction of once being cited by Beatles John Lennon and Paul McCartney as their favorite recording artist.
