Most of his headers either goes out of play or right back to the opposition. If he can learn to head it to our players, it could be a real momentum builder.

27 de jul. de 2024 · A game where they never really looke threatening to us and we managed to pass between lines, something we have struggled with immensely before that. Maguire is good defensively but his passing and ball movement under pressure is severely lacking. Varane is terrible on the ball.

If he doesn't play week in week out then Martinez, Yoro or/and any first teamer would come knocking at the manager's door asking for a pay rise. Currently they can cling to the fact that Maguire's contract is old admin's work.
