Hannah Tointon was born on December 28, 1987, in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England, to Ken and Carol Tointon. She grew up with her elder sister, Kara. Soon after she was born, the family moved to Leigh-on-Sea in Essex, where Hannah began her early education. Kara and Hannah were both inseparable since Hannah was a toddler.
