Hank Thompson was an American country music singer-songwriter and musician who rose to fame in the 1940s and 1950s. He was known for his honky-tonk style of music and his hit songs such as "The Wild Side of Life," "Smoke, Smoke, Smoke That Cigarette," and "A Six Pack to Go."
