Studee is an ICEF-accredited agency that international students can use to apply for admission to Hampshire College. For support and guidance, students choose personalized faculty advisory committees featuring professors from different areas of study.
Hampshire College operates on a divisional system, not a credit hour system. Students receive narrative evaluations instead of grades for all completed courses and at the end of each division. Courses for which we recommend a full four-credit equivalence meet a minimum of 160 minutes per week for the duration of our semester and include advising days and divisional progress review periods.

Eating on Campus For the academic year 2023-24, dining services will offer in-person cafeteria-style dining in the Dining Commons, coffee shop service at the Kern Kafé, and á la carte dining at the Bridge Café. Sourcing is done as locally as possible, with many ingredients coming from the College's own farm. Student-centered meals are made fresh with seasonal ingredients and a global influence.
