By Gunter Hampel As a composer, arranger, bandleader and now the owner of BIRTH Records, I have been undergoing changes in publishing my music on LPs, CDs, cassettes and video. As a new carrier, the DVD has arrived and seems to be the new way of bringing music to the people.

Er hat mit seiner Jazz, Funk und Blues getränkten Gitarre schon viele Musikprojekte auf der Bühne und im Studio veredelt, u.a. mit: Gunter Hampel, Barbara Dennerlein, Till Brönner, Smudo, PW Ellis, Nils Landgreen, Edo Zanki... über 1000 Konzerte und über 50 CDs gehen auf das Konto von Jazzkantine Gründungsmitglied Tom Bennecke.

29 de abr. de 2024 · Die Vorliebe zu Jazz und Improvisierter Musik lernte er als Bassist bei Gunter Hampels „Next Generation“ kennen. Er nahm an Masterclasses bei Charlie Haden, Drew Gress und Eric Harland teil und wurde 2008 mit einem Jahresstipendium des DAAD ausgezeichnet, welches ihm ermöglichte, seine Studien 2008 – 2009 in New York zu vertiefen.
