1 de sept. de 2016 · Betty Davis. He left Sly and the Family Stone in 1971, but continued to play. One place was on Betty Davis’s “Betty Davis” album in 1973. Davis was a precise person to work with. Errico, both drummer and producer on the album recalled that she came up with most of the bass lines and sang them to Larry Graham. Family Stone Greg Errico.
27 de ago. de 2013 · During that whirlwind week back in December 1966, when the seeds for Sly and the Family Stone were sown, drummer Greg Errico remembers he and his new bandmates leaning on material by Otis Redding. That continued into 1967, when a version of Redding’s “I Can’t Turn You Loose” was included as the B side of the first Sly and the Family Stone single, which was released on the Loadstone label.

Grateful Dead fans have seen drummer Greg Errico's name over the years, sitting in on the odd album track here and there, or listed on tape boxes. Errico played on some projects with Mickey Hart, and periodically he was the drummer for the Jerry Garcia Band as well. Once he even played drums for Bob Weir.
