2 de may. de 2019 · Bassist Greg Arama, who came on board for their classic Journey To The Center of the Mind (1968) slab, worked the pocket and rendered countermelodic motifs borne of a soulful, rhythm and blues approach and round tone which cut through the sonic din of his mates, which, to my ears, put the Dukes a cut above their peers.
Bassist Greg Arama died in a motorcycle accident on September 18, 1979. Steve Farmer later taught in Redford Township, Michigan. He also performed with backing bands at various venues in and around the Detroit area. Farmer died on April 7, 2020, aged 71.

Greg Arama. Rock Musician. In 1967, he was the original bass guitar player and member of the Chicago band The Gang, which became The Amboy Dukes. In 1968, Dukes song Journey to the Center of the Mind was a number 16 hit on the Billboard charts.
Carrera. El bajista Greg Arama murió en un accidente de motocicleta el 18 de septiembre de 1979. Más tarde, Steve Farmer enseñó en Redford Township, Michigan. También actuó con bandas de acompañamiento en varios lugares del área de Detroit y sus alrededores. Farmer murió el 7 de abril de 2020, a los 71 años.
