Grant Vernon Hart (March 18, 1961 – September 13, 2017) was an American musician, best known as the drummer and co-songwriter for the punk rock band Hüsker Dü. After the band's breakup in 1988, he released his first solo album Intolerance before forming the alternative rock trio Nova Mob, where he moved to vocals and guitar.

14 de sept. de 2017 · Grant Hart, the drummer and singer of the seminal alternative rock band Hüsker Dü, died at 56 after being diagnosed with liver cancer. He was known for his contributions to Dü classics like "Diane," "Pink Turns to Blue" and "Turn on the News". He also painted and wrote songs with Bob Mould, his bandmate and partner.
