William Graham Carr (born 25 October 1944) is an English former professional footballer, manager and scout. He is currently an associate director for Northampton Town. [1] Club career. Carr, a half-back, joined his first professional club, Northampton Town in August 1962 and captained their reserve side before breaking into their first team.

The former Newcastle United chief scout and ex-manager of Northampton Town has taken a director role at the League One club. Carr, who played for the Cobblers in the 1960s and led them to the Fourth Division title in 1987, brings his scouting and managerial experience to the club.
