Gordon Edwards is a mathematician, physicist, nuclear consultant, and president of the Canadian Coalition for Nuclear Responsibility ( www.ccnr.org ). He is based in Montreal. Since 1979 he has partnered with Robert Del Tredici in joint presentations on nuclear issues in Canada, the USA, Sweden, and Austria.

Gordon Edwards is a Canadian scientist and nuclear consultant. Edwards was born in Canada in 1940, and graduated from the University of Toronto in 1961 with a gold medal in Mathematics and Physics and a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship.

Join Dr. Gordon Edwards at one of three speaking dates in Northwestern Ontario this April. His tour is in response to the NWMO’s proposed deep geological repository (DGR) for nuclear fuel waste. The “Revell Site,” 45 km west of Ignace, is one of two potential sites for this proposed repository, which would hold all of Canada’s nuclear fuel waste – a projected 120,000 tonnes.
Gordon Edwards is president and co-founder of the Canadian Coalition for Nuclear Responsibility, a not-for-profit corporation established in 1975. He is a retired professor of mathematics and science at Vanier College in Montreal. Dr. Edwards has served as a consultant on nuclear issues for governmental and non-governmental bodies for over 45 years.
