Godfrey Harold Hardy (también conocido como G. H. Hardy) (1877-1947) fue un matemático británico que formuló la desigualdad que lleva su nombre. A partir de 1914, Hardy fue el mentor del matemático autodidacta indio Srinivasa Ramanujan (1887-1920), una relación que ha llegado a ser célebre.
